Mi Electric has been appointed to undertake electrical works on the Kingsford Smith Drive upgrade project, with this road considered a major gateway to Brisbane.

Our wide scope of works varies from architectural lighting to ITS infrastructure, as well as street lighting. We’ve installed more than 15 kilometres of fibre optic cable, approximately 90 street and pedestrian lights, plus six traffic monitoring CCTV cameras. Our team has also relocated a VMS Sign and performed a major ITS Network Switch, migrating Brisbane City Council’s services onto the new infrastructure.

This is a joint Brisbane City Council and Federal Government project, with Lendlease as principal contractor for the construction works.
