Annual Safety Day, August 2022

Mi Electric’s Annual Safety Day was recently held with all employees stopping work for the day to reflect on all thing’s safety and re-establishing our commitment to our Safety Rules & Values.

Topics discussed included safe driving and fatigue management; serious injuries and the consequences of who else is affected; the importance of good mental health and to look out for our mates, with guest speaker Donna Thistlethwaite.  Lawyers from Mock Court International also presented a work-related insight of what to expect in court should a serious event occur.

Our Safety Day is our opportunity to stop, reflect, listen and learn that nothing is more important than everyone going home safely to their family and friends.
